Acroyoga is a form of yoga done in pairs; it’s a way great way to build strength and mobility, but also to work on trust and communication, to push your limits, and above all to have a great time!

Join us at Sonoma Like it Hot to play, laugh, learn, and do something new.

Individuals are welcome, but this is a great experience to share with a friend, partner, family member, or anyone else you want to have fun with!

We will weave together the three main components of Acro throughout the course of the workshop:

1. The Physical:

Strength, mobility, balance, safety, the fundamental positions, and deep relaxation with Thai massage!

2. The Personal:

Expand the limits of what you think is possible; build confidence and trust as you overcome fears in a relaxed, fun and safe environment.

3. The Relational:

Co-create fun and supportive dynamics with your partner and the whole group. Through the simplicity of physical practice, we inevitably explore the thoughts and emotions brought up by supporting, and being supported by others. As in any relationship, self-awareness, good listening, and clear communication are essential to success.

You don't need a partner to join, just the curiosity to try. No previous experience necessary.

If you’re already an experienced acroyoga practitioner we will happily give you more advanced exercises to continue learning as well - each participant at their own pace!

Chiara Vitali is an experienced Yoga and AcroYoga teacher from Italy, currently based in Spain. She has taught and organized workshops, retreats, and festivals throughout Europe for more than a decade, and is just now starting to bring her practice to the US. This will be her first time teaching in California!

She is passionate about acro as a tool to connect, to have fun, to stay healthy, and to learn a little bit more about ourselves with every session.
